NECO Result, NECO Result 2018, How to Check 2018 NECO Result Without Scratch Card 

The National Examination Council (NECO) has released the results of the 2018 senior school certificate examination (SSCE).





HOW TO CHECK 2018 NECO RESULT

To check your Neco result, follow the five (5) simple steps below. You can also email or print your result.


  1. Go to NECO result checking portal 

  2. Select your examination type i.e. June/July

  3. Select your year of examination i.e. 2018

  4. Enter the result checking scratch card PIN number in the required column/box

  5. Enter your examination number


Lastly, click on Check My Result button to access your 2018 NECO result.



NECO 2018 RESULT STATISTICS


  • The number of those who passed or failed Neco 2018: According to the acting Registrar/Chief Executive of the Council, Alhaji Abubakar M.Gana, a total number of 1,041,536 registered for the examination while 1,032,729 sat for the examination.

  • A Comparative analysis of candidates with 5 credits and above including English language and Mathematics for 2017 and 2018 shows 70.85 percent for 2017 and 71.48 percent for 2018, showing an increase of 0.63 percent in 2018.




NECO 2017 RESULT STATISTICS 


  • Neco 2017 Candidates Performance Statistics: The results showed that 745,053 candidates that sat for the examination recorded credit and above passes in English and Mathematics, while 947,850 candidates passed with credits and above in five subjects irrespective of English and Mathematics.

  • According to the Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of NECO, Professor Charles Uwakwe, who announced the results, over 1,055,988 candidates registered for the examination, while 1,051472 actually sat for the test which covered a total of 76 subjects.

  • The registrar disclosed that 50,586 candidates were involved in examination malpractices, adding that 276 schools were involved in “mass cheating” in 34 states.

  • As a result, Uwakwe said six schools had been “derecognised” for their institution being involved in examination malpractices in addition to 23 supervisors “who aided malpractices in one way or the other were blacklisted”.
